The South High School Alumni Association was founded in 1999 with the following mission:

To foster a spirit of loyalty and comeraderie.

To establish common goals and actions in promoting the best interests of the school.

To provide an organization whereby members of the Association may continue and improve their contacts with each other and with the students of the school.

To preserve the history and locate, secure and preserve historical artifacts of Columbus (Ohio) South High School.
